Install went smoothly, with no errors or problems. Once run
the first time the software downloaded some updates and restarted.
At least I know its up to date, with software that lets you
connect to secure servers I'm pleased they auto-update for securities
sake.
Free play from a casino which offers both real and unlimited
free play. This casino, unlike some however, does not limit
the capabilities of the free play version. Graphics and game-play
were on par with the best I have reviewed. The best feature
is the ability to click on the picture of any one of over 40
games and have the software download and install just those
games, so the next time you start you can play them too.

Clean easy install, no effort at all. It did not however, auto
add itself to my start menu, just to my desktop. You need to
open an account to use it, and provide an email address. Looks
like a real casino which also offers free play.

Don't be fooled by the small file-size, it actually starts downloading
during its 'setup'. If you're looking for blackjack in a different
language this may be your choice, it offers a million. They
appear to not reveal who owns/distributes the software until
the very end of the install. Chose a rather arbitrary directory
to install into. Apparently 'Canada' is not a valid country,
although if I were from East Timor I wouldn't have a problem
registering, but all I could do was lie and say I'm an American.
The install also would not accept my password, stating that
it was invalid but not telling me why. I eventually figured
out that it was too long. Good security guys. So game-play?
The graphics were average, nothing special. I didn't feel like
I was in the casino. Thumbs down guys.

The install went smoothly until I attempted to specify my own
directory. No matter what I tried my choice was invalid, and
I ended up having to install to C:\cverite … sad. After this,
upon first time play I got a very strange message. "This is
a Demo Version. All 5's and 6's in the deck have been replaced
by Jacks". OoooooooK. So I'm not playing for real here?
The concept behind this blackjack game is great. It lists all
of the casinos in Nevada and many other areas, and allows you
to play the game they feature there, with those rules. Perfect
for someone like me who spends most of his time on a Vegas visit
at one or two casinos blackjack tables. Now I can practice the
same game with the same rules from home.
Unfortunately the graphics of this game are rather hard on the
eyes, not at all as pleasing as the professional graphics work
done on some of the other free games out there. The concept
is good, and the attempt at good graphics is worthy of note,
but overall the feel isn't as nice as some of the alternatives.

Install.. what install? I double click, blackjack comes up.
This is the quickest simplest game yet. Graphics and Game-play
are kind of in between the pro graphics that a casino distributes,
and the crap that is put together for free most of the time.
There is no option to play for real, but the free play is unlimited
and there are no advertisements. The game plays quickly and
smoothly, gave no errors, and I found no problems with it. Sound
was non-intrusive and easy to turn off.

Although it crashed the first time I attempted an install (on
a win2k box), the second attempt went smoothly. Auto-add to
the start menu and desktop. This software is SHAREware, so you
can play it for 15 days before registering it. Graphics and
game-play were sharply below average. I simply do not have a
good time playing.
As standard software goes purchasing a full game usually
provides a better experience, as more effort has been put
into the production of the software. This is not so simple
when it comes to a blackjack download. Some online casinos
offer free unlimited game play on all of their games including
blackjack. With this type of software, you have the opportunity
to place a real bet if you want, or to play for fake credits.
I am a fan of these styles of software (and as such I have
included a number in my download list) as they provide an
ideal environment for becoming used to and comfortable with
a version of the blackjack game that is identical to the real
version. Imagine if you were given a setup in your home with
the same dealer, felt, cards, and game-play as at the Bellagio,
would that not be an advantage for the next time you went
to Vegas? I would think so. So take advantage, download and
practice on software that you can switch onto 'real play'
and earn a buck after all your hard work learning!
